A ceremony in an 1858 landmark
The building was built in 1858 as the Hartland Congregational Church at a cost of $2,700. The Hall was dedicated with daily public performances over nine days, April 17–25, 1932, featuring artists including the Austrian violinist Fritz Kreisler.
In May 1987 the Hall was re-dedicated as a historic structure and added to the list of Historic Sites by the Michigan Historical Commission.
